What is Newsroom Multimedia?
When adding multimedia content to your newsroom, you will have the ability to add it directly to your Media Library to be used later to add to a News Post or the Content section of your Newsroom or you can upload it while you are creating the News Post or Content section.
Adding Multimedia to the Media Library,
To add Multimedia to your Media Library, click Media Library and then Add Files to add images and documents or click Embed Video to add streaming YouTube or Vimeo videos
Adding Multimedia to a News Post
Click News tab and then Write New Post.
Adding Main Image
On Step 1 Release, you will be able to add an image to the Main Image section by clicking Select Image.
A pop up will appear where you can select an image from the media library or upload an image from your desktop by clicking Add files.
This will place the main image below the title of the News post.
Adding Multimedia to body of News Post
Click into the Main Content section where you want to add the multimedia (images/videos/files) and a pop up will appear. Click the first icon to add multimedia.
A pop up will appear where you can add images/video/files from your Media Library or upload images and files from your desktop by clicking Add File or add new streaming YouTube/Vimeo videos by clicking Embed Video.
This will add the multimedia file in the body of your news post.
Adding Multimedia to Content Page of the Newsroom
Click on the Press Kits tab and select Add Press Kit
On the next page give your Press Kit a Name and description.
Click Manage Media to add the multimedia files and a pop up will appear to select images, videos and files in your Media Library or click Add Files to add images and files from your desktop or click embed video to add new streaming YouTube or Vimeo videos.
Once the files have been added click Save Press Kit
The Multimedia files will appear in the Content section of your Newsroom.
