RSS (Rich Site Summary; often called Really Simple Syndication) is a type of web feed which allows users to access updates to online content in a standardized, computer-readable format. These feeds can, for example, allow a user to keep track of a specific blog; i.e. getting all new blogposts.

It's easy to add one or several RSS feeds in Notified. You can add them into an existing search profile or create a new.

Under "Boolean Query," when creating/editing a searchprofile, type it with the following format:

(MEDIATYPES:"rss"; ("https://url_to_RSS_feed"))

Click on the preview to view the result from the feed. If the RSS feed doesn't display any news in Notified, please contact us for help.

The picture below illustrates an example with a monthly world weather RSS feed from SMHI.
